A New Month, A New Opportunity

Girl, I See You! Blog Post

Week of June 1, 2026

Welcome to June, sis!

A new month is more than just a change on the calendar—it’s a fresh opportunity to reset, refocus, and remember who you are.

Too often, we spend so much time thinking about what didn’t happen that we miss what God is doing right now. We replay disappointments, dwell on missed opportunities, and carry yesterday’s burdens into today’s blessings.

But June is here.

And with it comes a new chance to trust God, believe again, and move forward.

Maybe January didn’t go as planned.

Maybe some prayers are still unanswered.

Maybe you’re still healing from something you thought you’d be over by now.

That’s okay.

God is not discouraged by your process.

The same God who carried you through the first five months of this year will carry you through the rest of it. Your setbacks have not disqualified you. Your mistakes have not canceled your purpose. Your delays have not changed God’s promises.

This month, choose to:

  • Focus on progress instead of perfection.

  • Celebrate small victories.

  • Give yourself grace.

  • Trust God’s timing.

  • Walk boldly in your purpose.

Remember, growth doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes growth looks like getting back up one more time. Sometimes it looks like choosing faith when fear would be easier. Sometimes it looks like simply believing that your best days are still ahead.

Sis, there is still purpose in you.

There is still power in you.

There is still greatness waiting to unfold.

Do not let yesterday’s disappointments steal today’s hope.

Scripture of the Week

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:18-19

Reflection Questions

  1. What do I need to leave behind in May?

  2. What is one area where I need to trust God more this month?

  3. What new thing might God be trying to do in my life?

June Declaration

I enter this month with faith, confidence, and expectation.

I release what no longer serves me.

I embrace God’s purpose for my life.

I will not be defined by my past.

I am seen, loved, chosen, and equipped for every good thing God has prepared for me.
