My name is Natasha Lackey, and I’m the founder of Girl, I See You! This ministry was created for you—with me in mind.
I’ve been married for 25 years and am a proud mother of two wonderful kids. I got married at just 19, and not long after, became a mom. The life I had envisioned for myself was put on pause. My focus shifted to being the best wife and mother I could possibly be.
The years flew by, as they often do. Then one day, when my daughter was 18, she asked me a question that shook me:
"Mommy, what are you going to do when we leave? We are your entire life!"
That question sparked a journey in me. I realized I had spent years putting myself on the back burner for my family. While I love being a wife and a mother, I found myself asking:
Who am I outside of that? What dreams did I have before motherhood and marriage?
I started noticing how many wives and mothers were in the same place—present for everyone else, but disconnected from themselves.
Eventually, I took a four-day sabbatical alone to fast and pray. Out of that sacred space, God birthed this ministry:
Girl, I See You!
This is a space where women are reminded they are seen, valued, and whole—not just in the roles they fill, but in who they are at the core.

Girl, I See You! exists to uplift and support women who feel unseen in the midst of caring for everyone else. Through faith, community, and personal development, we remind them that they are not forgotten and that their individuality matters. Our mission is to help women rediscover and reclaim their unique identity through Christ-centered encouragement, spiritual growth, authentic sisterhood, and practical tools. We walk alongside women as they learn to see themselves the way God sees them—worthy, whole, and wonderfully made.
